PRIVACY POLICY
This privacy policy sets out how we deal with your personal data. We place high importance on the privacy of our clients. We are committed to maintaining a high level of security and confidentiality relating to all information submitted by and obtained from clients.
Data Processing
Your personal data is protected by the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 (“DPJL”).
The personal data we collect is to fulfil our contractual obligations and to provide services to you, as your Personal Virtual Assistant.
The type of data we collect (this list is not exhaustive and may vary depending on the services we provide to you) is:
- Name
- Address
- Date of birth
- Telephone numbers
- Passport information
- Visa information
- Family information i.e. spouse name, children’s names, dates of birth etc.
How we collect your data
We collect personal data from you directly as part of our engagement and every time you email us any such data to perform the services we have been engaged to provide.
Security
We endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. All data collected by us is stored securely.
How long will we hold your data
We will retain your personal data for the period of our engagement and for one year following the termination/expiry of that engagement.
Sharing your personal data
We will not share your personal information unless we have your permission to do so and only then to fulfil the engaged services.
Your Rights
Under the DPJL, you have a range of rights you can exercise over your personal data. These are:
- To be informed about how your data is being used.
- To access the personal data, we hold for you.
- To have incorrect data updated.
- To have data deleted.
- To limit or restrict the processing of your data.
- To obtain and reuse your data for different services.
- To object to how your data is processed.

Data Breach
The DPJL includes a duty on all organisations to report certain types of personal data breach to the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner (“JOIC”). Not every breach needs to be reported to the JOIC. It only needs to be reported if it constitutes “a risk” to the rights and freedoms of individuals.
In the unlikely event of a breach, we will contact you without undue delay and will do everything reasonably possible to establish if a breach has occurred and if so, how it occurred.
Consent
By signing up to our services i.e., signing our Engagement Letter it will be deemed you have accepted our use and disclosure of your data as outlined in this privacy policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time, in writing to [email protected].
