… and how I got them….
Being a new VA, I was worried about how I was going to find clients, but luckily enough it didn’t take me too long to get my first one on board.
MY FIRST CLIENT IN THE BAG!
My first client was a change consultancy firm, specialising in change management and project management. The firm’s founder was an ex-colleague I had worked with at least 15 years previously!
She set up her change consultancy business after leaving where we worked together. I launched MT Virtual PA by emailing all of my friends, family and colleagues, asking them to share the love about my new business. She contacted me to say that her business needed administrative support and put me in touch with the Head of HR.
THE TO DO LIST!
It was a really interesting, varied and very busy role. My typical ‘To Do List’ consisted of organising training courses, maintaining staff records, setting up template documents, organising travel, credit control, setting up interviews, chasing associates to complete time sheets and much more.
They were a fabulous team to work with and very supportive of entrepreneurial businesses. I am so pleased to have been able to support them through a time of high growth and transition and will always be grateful to them for giving me and my business a chance by becoming my first client.
